Control Union Malaysia Strengthens Regional Collaboration at Peterson Control Union APAC Meeting 2026
23–26 June 2026 | Hong Kong
Control Union Malaysia proudly participated in the Peterson Control Union APAC Meeting 2026, joining regional and global leaders in Hong Kong for four days of strategic discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration under the theme “Shaping the Next Chapter for APAC.”
The annual meeting brought together management teams from across the Asia Pacific region to strengthen regional collaboration, align business priorities, and explore new opportunities that will support customers in an increasingly dynamic global marketplace.
Representing Control Union Malaysia, our Managing Director joined regional and global leadership in discussions centred on business strategy, innovation, operational excellence, digital transformation, and the future direction of Peterson Control Union across APAC. The meeting also reinforced the organisation’s commitment to its People First culture while fostering stronger cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange.
As customer expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements continue to evolve, collaboration across the region remains essential in delivering consistent, high-quality services. Through leadership forums, business updates, and cross-functional discussions, participants shared expertise and best practices across certification, assurance, laboratory services, inspections, and digital solutions. These discussions further strengthened the collective capabilities of the APAC network and reaffirmed a shared commitment to delivering greater value to customers across the region.
The meeting also celebrated excellence through the Peterson Control Union Awards and Service Awards, recognising outstanding achievements and long-standing contributions from colleagues across Asia Pacific. This year’s gathering was especially significant as Peterson Control Union commemorated 30 years of operations in Hong Kong, marking an important milestone in the organisation’s regional growth and long-standing partnerships.

Beyond the business sessions, the Cultural Gala Dinner provided an opportunity for colleagues to celebrate the diversity that defines the APAC region. Participants proudly showcased their cultures through traditional attire, reinforcing the spirit of inclusion, collaboration, and mutual respect that continues to strengthen the Peterson Control Union network.
Commenting on the meeting, Supun Nigamuni, Managing Director of Control Union Malaysia, said the event reaffirmed the strength of regional collaboration and the importance of working together to support customers across Asia Pacific.
“The APAC Meeting 2026 demonstrated the strength of our regional network and our shared commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer excellence. By bringing together expertise from across the region, we are better positioned to respond to evolving market needs and support our customers with integrated solutions.
The ideas and strategic priorities established during the meeting will help guide our next phase of growth, while reinforcing our commitment to delivering trusted services and creating lasting value for our customers and partners.”
